The process valve section contains valves suitable for water and other fluids. The two main types shown in the catalogue are the pad valve which, like the solenoid valve, also shown in this section, have a diaphragm which seals against the body of the valve which to control the flow through the valve. The Pneumax pad valves use a pneumatic signal to operate the diaphragm where as the solenoid valve uses an electrical signal. Pad valves are manufactured in 2 styles, "Y" body and vertical body, and can be supplied in normally open, normally closed, both spring return or double acting configurations. Pad valves are available in sizes from 1/4" bsp to 2" bsp and have bronze bodies with either NBR or Viton seals. The Viton seals allow for a working temperature of up to 170C to be achieved. The 2/2 brass and stainless steel solenoid valves can also be seen in the process valves section. These valves are designed to control the flow of fluid by means of an electrical signal. The 2/2 solenoid valves are available in a number of voltages and port sizes and with a range of seal materials. The process valves section contains a wide range of process equipment, for more information see the catalogue or contact us at Webbair. |
