Pneumax has a new range of automation equipment include grippers, rotary actuators and twin rod slide units. These units are ideal for the manipulation of components in the automated production process and can be combined to make up pick and place units. Pneumax twin rod slide units are manufactured in bore sizes from 10mm to 32mm and in stroke lengths up to 200mm. The Pneumax twin rod slide units are made with either brass bushes or bearing bushes to support the piston rods and can be fitted with reed switches if required. Pneumax angular grippers come in three styles. The standard version is a compact unit with a small angular movement ideal for gripping small components. The 180 degree angular gripper has been designed so the two fingers both move through 90 degrees thus allowing for a larger items to be gripped. The 180 degree rack and pinion style gripper is larger and more robust than the previous units and can be supplied with fingers as either end fixings or side fixings. Pneumax parallel standard grippers are designed to give a small linear movement to achieve a gripping action. Pneumax also manufacture wide open, parallel grippers these units have parallel arms and use a rack and pinion system to achieve a gripping distance of up to 200mm. The Pneumax 3 finger grippers are available in sizes from 16mm x 125mm bore, ideal for accurate gripping of irregular shapes . Pneumax have a range of rotary actuators using a rack and pinion system, rotation angles of up to 190 degrees can be achieved. |
